Ideal for live sound, content creation, streaming, and studio recording, the YDM505S from Yamaha is a dynamic microphone with a custom cardioid capsule for pristine audio that rejects unwanted off-axis noise. With an advanced insulator that eliminates handling noise, the YDM series dynamic mics offer excellent live sound performance.
Inspired by the gentle flowing curves of wind instruments, the YDM505S features a refined physical design for a comfortable grip. An on/off switch is provided for quick and easy muting, and an integrated locking function lets you ensure that the mic will not be accidentally turned on or off. The YDM505S includes a mic clip, a 5/8" to 3/8" thread adapter, and a microphone pouch.
